Telephone appointments and Home Visits

There may be specific types of appointments for which you do not want appointment reminders sent. Two common examples are telephone appointments and home visits.

Assuming that you have appointment slot types set up in your Patient Administration System, it is very easy to stop MJog sending messages for certain appointment slot types.

Stop MJog Sending

1. From the MJog Home page, navigate to 'Change my messages and other settings'.
2. Select 'Appointments' from the left hand menu and 'Change my appointment types' from the right hand menu
3. From the 'Exclude Known Appointment Types' dropdown, select the appointment type you wish to exclude
4. Click 'Exclude'

When MJog next imports appointments (which is typically done several times per day), MJog will exclude appointments and stop reminders for the specified appointment slot types.

Allow MJog to Send

You can allow MJog to send for excluded appointment types by:

1. From the MJog Home page, navigate to 'Change my messages and other settings'.
2. Select 'Appointments' from the left hand menu and 'Change my appointment types' from the right hand menu
3. From the list of 'Currently Excluded Appointment Types', check the checkbox against the appointment type(s) you wish to include
4. Click 'Include'

When MJog next imports appointments (which is typically done several times per day), MJog will exclude appointments and stop reminders for the specified appointment slot types.
