What is Desktop GP?

Desktop GP (DGP) allows GPs to communicate with patients on an individual basis from within their clinical system (EMIS Web or TPP SystmOne)

Whilst the rest of Mjog Premium is designed for batch messaging, by enabling DGP practices can provide GPs with the instant text messaging service that patients desire.

Types of messages that can be sent via Desktop GP

Quick Messages

GPs can send a quick message to any patient, whilst automatically selecting the contact details from the current on-screen patient’s record. In addition, GPs can now attach PDF documents to DGP messages making it easy to send over communications such as: Fit Notes or prescription information.

Video Consultations

Through Mjog Video, GPs can now conduct video consultations using Mjog’s own video service, or almost any video service that Mjog Video supports.

Depending on your Practice subscription (Smart, SMS, or Email), you can send any message template to your patient using their preferred communication method, as previously recorded within Mjog.
